... there aren't enough Ron/Draco stuff out there when I actually come out of my lurking hole.

I remember 4 years ago (and wow has it been that long) this was why I crawled out of my hole and started posting (not posting doesn't mean I don't have tons of doodles scattered) on comms and actually participating. And here I am again.

Not exactly 'back' as in all gung-ho and going to be loud about it because work's been sucking my enthusiasm and energy at life. I just feel even more annoyed and sad that when I do check back to my loves, there's so little or sometimes even nothing to see anymore. I am VERY grateful for Fire and Ice. Wish I could do more for jux_ta_pose but if one day you don't want to pay for FvsI anymore or can't host it, there's enough server room that I can provide host for it. I just want that archive to always be up and about for as long as possible even if it's no longer being updated.

Yes, I'm still posting on IJ but as often as I post here which is rarely :(

I have a new monitor (19" wide screen at long last) and so in a form of celebration and test, I painted Ron -- no surprise there.

Also did inventory on my old works and realized I have enough Ron artworks to make an artbook. Will definitely print one for myself. Anyone else? And no, I'm not going to include the commissioned artworks in it (then again, no one's commissioned a solo Ron anyway lol). It's going to be all Ron. The Ron/Draco will be in a different compilation because I don't think I have enough drawn that looked good enough.

Hrrm. Of course, the moment I decide to draw and post art again I get confused as to where to post it. So, by default, I just put it up in my own server and everywhere else there's just a direct link.

Over at LJ, I ended up with making another account as fuileachd. Practically everyone I used to watch are locked, even the communities. Doesn't exactly give me a choice. Definitely not going for paid account now, at least.

So I finally have my PC back. FINALLY. RL just never lets up. When one thing gets solved, another shit hits the fan. That includes my PC problems.

I quit work so I can have control of my life back. And then, not less than a week later my net collapses. When that was fixed, my drivers won't work. Then when that was fixed, my main drive crashes destroying EVERYTHING. The art and fics, I can stomach being gone. I still have some online but no longer the hi-res versions. The files that have nothing to do with fandom, though, are gone as well. I could throw a tantrum. But yeah, losing all those just left me indifferent and nothing.

But now I have my pc back. At least.

I never thought I'd see the day where looking at art depresses me.

Every time I see a piece of good art, a part of me dies (with envy). And then I want to draw again. And then I realize I feel tired and just want to crawl in and sleep.

And sleep always wins. The body is tired.

Well, I've decided.

Barely have time for anything else, which included doing all the things I used to do. I still need to do a lot of things that are long overdue.

hpfanart. This place makes me happy because there's a fanart community here in IJ, small as it is. Heh. Now I wonder if there are R/D artworks there at all. Or even just Ron. This is seriously like starting over with absolutely nothing. On one hand it's sad, and on the other I can feel the old blood of wanting to spread R/D and Ron again. And if I'd have enough time, I'm determined to draw once more.

[Addendum] And as exepcted, there is zero Ron/Draco and zero Ron. Part of me is angry again. Poor boy's always the underdog even when he's part of the 'main' cast.

I remember a friend telling me if someone googles Ron/Draco or searches for one, they'd immediately find me because I'm that known. While I agree that people will find me if they did google Ron/Draco (sometimes even if it's just Ron, but the chances are not high on that one), I don't agree on the 'fame'. Dude, the only reason people find my name attached to that pairing is because there aren't enough artists drawing for it. It's sad and frustrating like that. If I don't draw for myself, there's nowhere to look other than the occasional gem I find once in a blue moon.

The fact that so many people (from my original LJ flist) are STILL over at LJ makes me gnash my teeth because it leaves me torn. On one hand, I'm ready to make this a permanent move from LJ to IJ. Bad enough I'm considering a 'journal' as a place to move 'to' instead of permanently staying at my blog. But I realized that my blog is mostly original art and well away from fandom. So, yeah I think I can actually separate 'artistic life' away from fandom for once.

Now that I've decided to do that, I'm left with just IJ and LJ. And frankly I do not want to be in LJ. Which brings me to the question of whether I'm willing to cut off everything which is more like removing a limb or two.

So. Why is there no Ron/Draco community yet? Ok there's the drabble one.
